The staff was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and wonderful with hearty coffee and homemade French toast. The room was tastefully decorated and had a kitchen area. The inn is located on a nearby island, offering a secluded location.

Booked double room, that was provided with quiet reading or reflection, individual seating and TV.

The room was average sized with its beautiful windows and the staff very very helpful. As for me, the location was beautiful, close enough to a very peaceful lake, Canada and Bucksport, Fort Knox, or trip to Acadia.

The lounge in the lodge is comfortable and the breakfast offered is delicious. The innkeepers provide great hospitality, offering privacy while being accommodating. The wood burning stove in the lobby creates a cozy atmosphere on cold evenings.

The rooms could benefit from some updating, particularly the layout that can be inconvenient with windows facing the corridor.

The Alamoosook Lakeside Inn in Orland was an absolute delight for our family stay. The kids had a blast with the kayaks, boats, and campfire activities. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. It's a perfect place for families with young kids to enjoy a few days of exploring the lake with fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the breakfast was fantastic with something different each day. We loved the peacefulness of the lake and enjoyed our morning coffee by the water. an amazing stay that we highly recommend.

The location of the inn is secluded and close to many wonderful restaurants in the area. There is a cozy sitting area by the wood stove for early morning activities like knitting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The breakfast was amazing with a good choice of fantastic food.
